It is said to be the most private wine region in the world. With the most original vines, the most difficult production and the most peculiar flavor. That's why there are so few producers who dare to enter Colares. In 2008 Casca Wines decided to be one of them. And he bet he could make a new forward-looking Necklaces. Respecting all the unique traditions of the area - the sand ground grapes, the artisanal method of tying, the production in a local winery... - and adding the talent and professionalism that only a young and dedicated company can give. In the name of tradition.

Acknowledgments: To the village of Almoçageme, for having received us with so much sympathy and emotion. To José Baeta, producer and great oenophile, who against all the ocean winds in the region opened the doors of Adega Viúva Gomes for us to make this great wine.

First year of production - 2009

Vine A. is located 1 km from the Atlantic coast at 111m altitude. Vine B. 0.9 km from the Atlantic coast at 106m altitude. Vineyards over 80 years old.
