The harmony of a great love. It is a versatile, current and passionate wine created in order to define and demonstrate all our commitment and respect for this land that runs in our veins and generation after generation continue to love the Douro. Wine with closed color, almost black, with beautiful violets. Balsamic aromas and notes of very dense black fruits, very well integrated with the tobacco and vanilla proper of the stage in wood. It is a vineyard located in the heart of the top-corgo, in the parish of Castedo do Douro, on the right bank of the Douro, with solar exposure facing south.

After the finished alcoholic fermentation, a stage was followed in new barrels for 18 months, later stabilized and bottled. Following a 12-month bottling stage.
It occurred between the 3rd and 4th weeks of September, in stainless steel fermentation tanks of 12 tons with temperature control. All varieties were vinified separately. The average fermentation temperature was 28 degrees Celsius. The fermentation period was 10 days, followed by 5 days of post fermentation maceration, after which the wines were stored in small volume stainless steel tanks.
Balsamic aromas and notes of very dense black fruits, very well integrated with the tobacco and vanilla proper of the stage in wood.
In the mouth it is dense with well present tannins and a refreshing acidity typical of its terroir, but without anything overlapping, in a set of a soft density that ends long and persistent
Piano grand reserve great is a strong wine as such calls for strong dishes so that both can shine. We recommend accompanying with a lamb stew, roasted kid in the oven, mirandesa steak among others.
The piano grand reserve is in full for immediate consumption, but has potential for aging for another 5 to 10 years in the best conditions. Keep in the basement, with the bottle lying down. Oenology: Jorge Alves / Valter Silva.
