It is a Douro red wine, with a contemporary profile, intense and elegant, reflecting the versatility and passionate relevance of the wines of this region. Deep ruby color, characterized by an intense and complex aroma dominated by ripe red fruits (cassis and strawberry), black fruits (plum) and floral notes (orange blossom). Coming from a vineyard located in the heart of Alto Corgo, in the parish of Castedo do Douro, on the right bank of the Douro, with sun exposure facing south.
After completion of the malolactic fermentation, a 9-month stage was followed in used barrels. At the end the wine was stabilized and bottled for a 3-month bottling stage.
It took place between the 3rd and 4th weeks of September, in 15-ton stainless steel fermentation tanks with temperature control. All varieties were vinified separately. The average fermentation temperature was 28 degrees Celsius. The fermentation period was 10 days, followed by 5 days of post fermentation maceration.

In the mouth it is intense, with excellent volume, balanced acidity and good quality tannins. The ending is long and complex.
Piano red is a versatile wine, both can accompany a beautiful meal as a beautiful conversation. It is the ideal wine to accompany hunting dishes.
The Piano Red is in its fullness for immediate consumption, but has the potential of aging for another 3 to 5 years in the best conditions. Keep in the basement, with the bottle lying down.
