The harmony of a great love. Piano Reserva, is a wine of superior quality, which brings what is best produced in the Douro, to your table. It is a versatile, current and passionate wine created in order to define and demonstrate all our commitment and respect for this land that runs in our veins and generation after generation continue to love the Douro. Wine of deep ruby color in the aroma is intense and complex, dominated by ripe red fruits (cassis and strawberry) and black fruits (plum).  Coming from a vineyard located in the heart of the top-corgo, in the parish of Castedo do douro, with sun exposure facing south.

After the alcoholic fermentation, a 12-month stage was followed in new barrels. Subsequently the wine is stabilized following a stage of 12 months in the bottle.
It occurred between the 3rd and 4th weeks of September, in stainless steel fermentation tanks of 12 tons with temperature control. All varieties were vinified separately. The average fermentation temperature was 28 degrees Celsius. The fermentation was of 10 days, followed by another 5 days of post fermentation maceration. The wines were stored in small volume tanks.
Wine of deep ruby color in the aroma is intense and complex, dominated by ripe red fruits (cassis and strawberry) and black fruits (plum).
In the mouth reveals an excellent volume, well integrated acidity, good quality tannins. Presence of well marked red fruits, with notes of balsamic and resin. The ending is long and complex.
Piano reserva is an intense wine, which is why it accompanies well with intense dishes so that both can shine. We recommend accompanying with hunting dishes, roasted kid among others.
The Piano Reserve is at its fullest to consume right away, although it has the potential to evolve into a bottle for another five or ten years. Keep in the basement, with the bottle lying down. Oenology: Jorge Alves / Valter Silva.
